Born 15 weeks premature, at a body weight of one pound five ounces, Rachel lost her eyesight due to Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP). By two, she was playing Bach fugues. A celebration of the bonds of family, the divine mysteries of creativity, and one woman’s joyous, free-flowing love of music.
The Ojai Film Festival is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and supporting the art of the motion picture through the presentation of an annual multi day festival in which films and videos submitted by filmmakers throughout the world are publicly exhibited at several venues in and around the city of Ojai, California.
There are two ways in which The Ojai Film Festival fulfills its goal of serving the art of film. By providing filmmakers, many of whom are just beginning their careers with a supportive and enthusiastic audience for their creative efforts and giving them access to film industry professionals who can offer guidance and other forms of career assistance.
And by bringing to its audience of both local residents and visitors from all over southern California, a wide array of distinguished motion pictures which would probably otherwise be inaccessible to them.
